2012年十月的一天，我和女儿开始写第一篇博客文章，如今十二年时光过去了，我居然坚持写作十二年。这十二年里，我和家人们一起全民写作，完成了一百多篇的散文和诗歌，将往昔的岁月和精彩的瞬间留成了文字。与其说是坚持，不如说是自然而然地写下去了。总是有一些如精灵跳动的灵感，或者是刹那间，心里强烈的感动，让我嗅到了文章的味道，赶紧提笔写下题目，开了档案，不久之后就是一篇文章。

然而，有些时候，一篇文章会写好几年，甚至临近出版了，也还没有写完。姑且留着它们吧，也一起出版了吧。就不等下次了，下次出版又会是哪一年呢。

爸爸已是古稀之年，今年五月份出了一本诗书画集的书，这让我不由地也有了出书的冲动。爸爸，妈妈忙着和编辑部打交道，谈价钱，设计版面，我坐享其成，何乐而不为呢！感恩家人们一路以来的陪伴和鼓励，感恩读者粉丝们情有独钟的爱和支持，感恩上帝的带领和恩赐。

许多读者来信说，我的文章已经尽数读完了，有些文章甚至读了好几遍。感谢你们的喜欢。巴不得出书后，给你们每人赠送一本。也感谢编辑部不厌其烦地听我的意见，一遍又一遍地修改设计，校对文章。每一次的精彩呈现都不是容易的，背后都有许多许多的汗水和付出。

这一切都是为了给你， 我亲爱的读者，带来这本独特的，萌发自心灵，交融于生活的好书。

Preface to Bing Bing’s Poetry and Essay

One day in October 2012, my daughter and I wrote our first blog post together. Now, twelve years have flown by, and I’m amazed that I’ve been writing for twelve whole years. Over these years, my family and I have embraced writing together, completing over a hundred essays and poems, capturing moments from the past and beautiful memories in words. It wasn’t really about persistence; rather, it just came naturally. Sometimes, inspiration would flit about like a sprite, or a sudden surge of emotion would stir within, and I could smell the scent of a new piece. I’d quickly jot down a title, start a new document, and before long, it would become an essay.

Of course, there were times when it took years to finish a piece. Some of them, even now, as the book is about to be published, still remain incomplete. But let’s go ahead and include them too—who knows when the next publication will be?

This May, my father, now in his seventies, published a book of poetry, calligraphy, and paintings. That gave me a little nudge, making me feel like publishing my own book as well. My parents have been busy working with the editorial team, discussing prices, and designing the layout. I’m happy to just enjoy the process without worrying too much! I’m so grateful to my family for their constant support and encouragement, to my readers for their love and loyalty, and to God for His guidance and blessings.

Many readers have written to me saying they’ve read all my articles, some even multiple times. Thank you so much for your support! If I could, I’d love to gift each of you a copy of this book. I’m also grateful to the editorial team for patiently listening to my feedback and for revising and proofreading again and again. Every beautiful result comes with a lot of hard work behind the scenes.

All of this is for you, my dear reader, to bring you this unique book—born from the heart and intertwined with life.
