后记:

有一天读到好友祖群的朋友圈，她说她的黑头发传给了两个美丽的女儿，用的是半文半白的词语，比如：吾的黑发，吾的女儿等，一时间勾起我的万千思绪。我们身为华人，多年以来旅居德国，生儿养女，看着他们的黑头发，黑眼睛，一天天地长大。他们与周围的环境有太多的不同，却也能美好地融合在一起，可谓之相得益彰，安居乐业。不由得盼望我们中国人的血统和文化能够世世代代传承下去，成为欧洲密不可分的组成部分。

欣慰的是，儿子和女儿常年坚持在中文学校学习中文，此外还学习拉奏二胡。如果说中文学习比较容易的话，那坚持拉二胡就难能可贵了。如今，他们两个已经学的有些模样了，也渐渐喜欢上了中国的文化艺术。我们作为父母亲，心里充满了感恩和喜乐。

Living Far Away from Hometown

Postscript

One day, I read a WeChat post from my dear friend Zu Qun. She mentioned how she had passed on her black hair to her two beautiful daughters, using a mix of classical and modern language—phrases like “my black hair” and “my daughters” (吾的黑发，吾的女儿). Her words stirred up a thousand thoughts within me. As Chinese living in Germany for many years, raising our children here, we watch them grow day by day, with their black hair and black eyes, so distinct from their surroundings yet beautifully integrated. They thrive in this environment, a harmonious blend of cultures. I can’t help but hope that our Chinese heritage and culture will continue to be passed down through generations, becoming an inseparable part of Europe’s rich tapestry.

What brings us great comfort is that both our son and daughter have been attending Chinese school for years to learn the language. Additionally, they have been learning to play the erhu, a Chinese string instrument. While learning Chinese might be relatively straightforward, the dedication required to continue playing the erhu is truly admirable. Now, they’ve reached a point where they are quite skilled, and they’re gradually falling in love with Chinese culture and the arts. As parents, our hearts are filled with gratitude and joy.
